The English fowler is such a graceful firearm and very shooter friendly with the near perfect stock architecture.

The lock is fitted with a flash guard for re-enacting and is also useful for line shooting at target matches. I built a brass washer to tighten and loosen the guard to swing out of way so touch hole can be cleaned for fast ignition.
